D-Düsseldorf Creche
The site of the Neue Düsseldorfer Stadtquartiere (New Urban Quarters of Düsseldorf) lies close to the city center in the district of Derendorf. Following a workshop in 2000, the project has very steadily and purposefully developed. The spatial and built structure is guided by the buildings of the neighboring Wilhelminian period and is divided into different densities. The multifunctional usage concept offers ideal conditions to create a lively urban quarter.
The site of the Day-Care Center is embedded in the new city gardens. The nursery is planned as a one-story building with two courtyards.
